Knitting Circle was founded in 2025 to help make rope play accessible, approachable, and fun. Our monthly rope jams are safe places to explore rope, connect with community, and build your skills. And our classes are meant to give beginners a safe, practical grounding in restraint without the complexity and formality, of traditional Shibari-based curricula.

Hosted by Conycatcher, a multi-decade practitioner of Western, improvisational restraint, our events are open to everyone, subject to a vetting process intended to ensure the safety and comfort of all our attendees.
